LEINSTER SQUASH SCHOOLS LEAGUES RULES 2010/2011

[1] Each team consists of 3 players who must play in ranking order. Order of play is: 3, 1, 2 except by prior agreement with the opposition.

[2] Each match is the best of 5 games to 15. American scoring system will be used.

[3] Teams must consist of 3 players from the same school. Primary and Secondary schools cannot join together.

[4] Players may play up an age group.

[5] Players can NOT play on 2 teams.

[6] Games will be scheduled for WEDNESDAYS at central venues. Each team will play a number of matches on each blitz day.

Leinster Schools Finals and Prize Giving

[7] There will be a League and Cup competition in each section

[8] A Score Card must be filled in with names and dates of birth of each player and given to organisers prior to the commencement of each match. The cards must be signed by a representative of each team.

[9] Players must play in WHITE or PASTEL CLOTHING. BLACKSOLED SHOES must NOT be worn on court.

[10] All Players must wear goggles for eye protection. In the interest of safety under no circumstances should players be allowed on court without eye protection.

[11] Prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up of each division in the League.

[12] The winners of the Leinster Schools Cup Finals U/13, U/15, U/17 & U/19 Boys & Girls will represent Leinster in the All Ireland Schools Finals.

[13] The Entry Fee is €15 per team must accompany the entry form.

[14] The date for eligibility for all age categories (U/13, U/15, U/17,U/19) is the 8^th April 2011.

[15] An adult must be present to supervise schools squash games.
